Jimmy & His Dad 1979

His zest for adventure took him many places others would not even try.  His friendships were many.  From his childhood to adulthood, he cared about others and how they were.  He'd help them in need.  He taught me to be strong.  I dont think he knew how strong I was going to have to be.
I remember listening to Jimmys hopes and dreams as a child and as an adult.  He had many.  He believed in God and in life.  He had more faith in his family than they had in themselves.
He was a giver of Hope and Laughter.  He made me laugh at the silliest things.  He didn't want me to worry or be upset no matter what the situation.
He was my laughter.

He was demanding in a sense that he needed more attention.  Hed show me new tricks on his bike or a new invention he had thought up.  He was always thinking.  He was a tinkerer.  He took things apart and made better.  Better mouse traps?  Maybe.  He was never still.  He needed to be going all the time.  His energy level as a child wore me out sometimes.  He was into track and Karate as a child.  He could run and jump faster and higher than his peers.  Or teachers.  Field Day events were his specialty.  He loved competition.  He needed it.  He won.  He was looked up to by many of his peers because he never quit.  He strived to be the best in everything he attempted.  Many awards were displayed on our walls for his brother and sister and him.
